Kylie Cosmetics have a range of eyeshadow palettes and today I am going to be talking about and swatching the Bronze Palette.
The Bronze Palette Description/Review
The Kylie Cosmetics Bronze Palette contains 9 shadows– 7 matte shades and 2 satin shades. Each shadow contains 1.40 grams (0.05 ounces) of product, giving the palette a total of 12.6 grams (0.45 ounces) of product. The palette is made in the USA and has a shelf life of 24 months.
The quality of the shadows is really good and each one works perfectly on the eye. The shimmers are high quality and so are the mattes, which is good because not all mattes are as creamy and pigmented as these. The formula is the same as all of Kylie’s eyeshadow palettes, which are high quality and work really good.
The Bronze Palette may seem boring at first look, but for people who wear natural shadow more than intense Instagram shadow, like I do, there are really good shades in the palette. I can use this palette daily to create multiple different natural looks. You can also create more glamorous looks. There are a good mix of crease, transition and lid shades and there are some satin/shimmer shades to add a brighter pop of colour to the lid. This palette can also be used with other palettes for base and transition/crease shades. I do think the palette is overpriced for such a simple palette, but you do pay for the Kylie name also so that has to be taken into consideration.
I love this palette and it is a good staple to have in your collection, especially if you like natural looks. However, you could deffo find another palette which contains these shades plus more to create the same and even more looks, so you have to weigh that up. For example, you could buy a 35-pan Morphe Eyeshadow Palette that would come with all of these shades, plus 26 more, for a cheaper price that would be more worth the money. It is a good palette though and although it's nothing TOO special, I like it and use it quite a bit. It's easy to grab because it's nice and compact. The only thing is that it doesn't come with a mirror, which would be helpful, but that's not a big deal for me.
As I said, for a 9-pan eyeshadow palette, the price is really HIGH, and you can get palettes that contain four times the amount of shades for the same price, so if you are wanting to get the best value out of your money this palette is probably not the best option for you.
The Kylie Bronze Palette costs $55.48 AUD ($42.00 USD) and can be purchased from Kylie Cosmetics Online (Link at end)
