Anastasia Beverly Hills recently released a new Glow Kit called Aurora and today, I am going to be talking about and swatching it!
ABH Aurora Glow Kit Description/Review
The Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit in Aurora contains 6 shimmery powder highlighting shades. Each shade contains 4.2 grams (0.15 ounces) of product, giving the palette a total of 25.2 grams (0.9 ounces) of product. The palette has a shelf life of 12 months and is made in China.
The formula is the exact same as the Moonchild Glow Kit. Each shade applies sooo effortlessly to the face and are extremely extremely pigmented. To make them pop even more, you can add a bit of spray fix plus or water, and they turn SOOOO halographic and bright, but as I said they are pigmented alone so it’s not needed.
I like all the shades in the Aurora palette and I not only use them on the cheeks, but on the tips of the nose and inner corner of the eyes. The only thing about this palette is that I am not sure if I will use the orange shades, especially not on the cheeks. It just isn't my preference, but I can use it on the eyes so that's okay. You just have to weigh up if you will use the shades or if you should look for another Glow Kit by ABH that will better suit you because there are so many glow kit's at this point it's hard to pick and different people will gravitate towards different ones. Personally, I do use the Moonchild Glow Kit more than this one, but I still like this one. This one does have more bright colours, such as purple, blue's and orange's and is different than the shade selection in the other palettes (you will see what I mean when you see the swatches below). The Aurora Glow kit certainly stands alone but the shades can be so pretty.
All in all, I like the Aurora Glow Kit by Anastasia Beverly Hills and I think it is such a stunning palette that I will reach for a bit, especially when I am feeling like I want to experiment. It's not my favourite highlighter palette, but it is nice..
Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kits NEVER let me down and this palette is no exception. I do think that it is similar to the Moonchild kit and I do like Moonchild shades a little bit more, but Aurora is deffo different and just as good in regards to quality and the formula. I do think ABH has released maybe too many glow kit's but that is part of their brand so I find that okay but I don't think you need all of them unless you are a makeup hoarder like me, lol.
The Anastasia Beverly Hills Aurora Glow Kit costs $52.63 AUD – $40.00 USD – and can be purchased from ABH Online, Beautylish, BeautyBay, Sephora and Cult Beauty
